What this is

StudyFreeEU answers one question well: where in Europe can an EU citizen study without paying standard tuition fees? It combines a university search engine, a European study database and a tuition comparison platform.

It covers all 27 EU member states plus a separate section for other European countries (EEA and close partners).

Accuracy rule

We never fabricate universities, programmes, fees, deadlines, admission requirements, URLs or tuition policies. Where a fact cannot be verified, it is labelled Not yet verified instead of guessed. Every tuition claim carries a source and a verification date.

Academic year in focus: 2026/2027 (some national figures still quote 2025/2026 until updated by the authorities).

Always verify. Tuition rules may change. Always verify current fees and admission requirements on the university's official website before applying.
